It’s a lifetime dream of passionate hikers as the quest provides an opportunity to witness a beautiful mountain range from a close. The trials to the enthralling place comprise climbs and descend that traverse lush low land, alpine forests, rivers, picturesque communities, Inca temple, and palace. The route on the trek is loaded with panoramic views of majestic mountains range, adding glitters to the splendid beauty of the region. Huchuy Qosqo Trek takes you to explore the treasure of the Andes in a short time; it’s perfect for people who don’t want to spend much time in the mountains but still want to feel the charm of the Andes.

Departure & Return Location:

Hotel Cusco.

Departure Time:

Pick up from your hotel (5:00 am – 5:30 am).

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Tauca - Huchuy Qosqo - Aguas Calientes.

At 5 am, you will be picked up from your hotel, in our private transportation, and drive to the exciting village of Tauca. We will start the Trekking uphill for 3 hours; as we reach the mountain top, there will be breathtaking views of the tall peaks around, then we continue our trek downhill, passing some farming fields and pastures where animals graze. Around Huchuy Qosqo, we will find the typical flora of the area; we then follow a beautiful Inca trail downward to the famous Inca site, at our arrival to the Inca Site; our guide will teach us all the history of this place.

After having our box lunch, we will continue with our two days, walking down to Lamay (3 hours); from here, we need to travel by car to Ollantaytambo. In the evening we will catch the train to Aguas Calientes town

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu - Cusco.

To best appreciated Machu Picchu, we’ll wake up early in the morning so we can get to the citadel in good time. You’ll have time for breakfast first, and then your guide will pick you up from the hotel at around 5:40 a.m. We’ll then walk to the bus departure point for the short but zigzagging ascent up the road to Machu Picchu.
We’ll then pass through the gates into the Machu Picchu archaeological site. Here you’ll begin your guided walking tour with an experienced and highly knowledgeable guide.

Our tour of Machu Picchu will last about two hours and will take you to all the most famous and most spectacular parts of the extensive archaeological complex. These include the House of the Guardian, Intihuatana, Temple of the Sun, Sacred Plaza, and other vital locations. And as we walk around, we’ll have spectacular views across the agricultural terraces of Machu Picchu and across to the surrounding mountains and plunging gorges. After the guided tour, you’ll have time to explore Machu Picchu as you please, perhaps walking to some less visited parts such as the Inca Bridge.

Once we’ve finished our tour of Machu Picchu, we’ll take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, where you can relax and have lunch (not included) before we board the train back to Ollantaytambo and Cusco. Upon arrival at the station, we’ll be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco, where you can think back to your incredible tour of one of the world’s most famous and most impressive attractions.
