For centuries, Perolniyoc was covered by the broad and lush vegetation, the little care threatened that this architectural and archaeological jewel almost disappeared, but it was saved by the inhabitants of the area and the great help of restoration by Ministerio de Cultura.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. m. Relax in the tour vehicle for a 1.5-hour drive through Peru’s rugged landscape to the town of Socma, where you’ll receive a briefing from your guide and refreshments for your hike; then, we start trekking for an hour until we reach the base of the waterfall; Your trekking guide will assist and point out the local flora and fauna. The trekking is smooth, and you will walk at your own pace.
Once at the waterfall, admire the colorful landscape and learn about the geological processes responsible for it. Take photos of the waterfall and rest for a bit before continuing the trek to the Inca archaeological site (one hour); here, you will be served lunch and enjoy the views of the Andes, including the “Soqma” valley. After lunch, your guide will take you on an informative tour of the Inca archaeological site, where you will also have ample time to take photos.
After all, we will return to the village of “Soqma,” where the private car will be waiting for us. Relax in the vehicle on the drive back to Cusco; Along the route, we will stop at a few places to see how the locals prepare “Chicha,” a local drink made from dried corn.
