Your tour begins between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Ica or Huacachina. From there, we’ll head to Paracas, a scenic coastal town about an hour away, where your adventure begins.
At 8:00 AM, you’ll board a boat for the Ballestas Islands excursion, starting with a stop to see the Candelabro, a mysterious geoglyph etched into the desert cliffs. This enigmatic figure has been linked to the Nazca Lines, pirates, and even extraterrestrial theories. Continuing out to sea, you’ll marvel at the striking rock formations and abundant marine wildlife, including sea lions, penguins, pelicans, and blue-footed boobies.
After the boat tour, enjoy some free time at the lively Paracas Boulevard, where you can shop, relax by the sea, or enjoy a snack (not included).
At 11:00 AM, we’ll transfer back to Ica, where the second part of your adventure awaits. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the iconic Huacachina Oasis, a serene desert lagoon surrounded by palm trees and towering sand dunes. Take some time to explore this picturesque location and snap some incredible photos.
In the afternoon, it’s time for an adrenaline-filled tubular ride and sandboarding tour. Hop into a tubular buggy and race through the desert dunes, stopping at several points to try your hand at sandboarding. No prior experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm for this thrilling activity.
